VIETNAMESE CHOICE POEMS

This is the brainchild of 81 poets of Vietnamese origin living in various countries on the globe. They wish to share with dear readers their thoughts and feelings - of which the core is: Feud (with those who have caused deaths, injuries, pain, separation from relatives, loss of properties . . . ); Nostalgia; Gratitude (to the host countries that have offered refuge and opportunities . . . ); Improvements (to contribute to the welfare of their adoptive societies); Aspirations (for a free, democratic, and prosperous motherland). This has been the greatest ever number of Vietnamese poets whose works are translated into English verse by a single pen.
