FAREWELL FOREVER,
TWIN TOWERS!
the
truck moved with much fag
carrying
the last post of steel
covered
with the US flag
like
a river flowing inchmeal...
oh,
that river filled with tears
coursing
thru life with many a wind
in
the heart of New York’s spheres
leaving
Ground Zero behind
I
looked at the TV screen
with
my eyes in lachrymal pain;
not
only myself crying at the scene,
whoever
unmoved could remain?
constructed
in joy at most,
devastated
in sobs to condole,
the
poor last steel post
plunged
deep down my soul!
oh,
New York’s sky agleam
where
the clouds from now on
carry
streams of tears’ steam
flying
over Ground Zero yon!
